Who am I?

Hi there, I'm Lesley Samuels, and honestly, I'm just so happy you've popped by! If your life feels like it's been a bit of a winding path, always exploring new things, then trust me, you and I are on the same wavelength.

My career journey? Well, it's been quite the adventure! I started out helping people feel amazing as a beauty therapist, makeup artist, and even a hairdresser (I actually trained for that after my second daughter was born in 2008 – always up for something new!). What I really loved about all those roles was how I could look at someone and just see their potential, helping them feel absolutely fabulous and confident. From there, I dabbled in customer service, sales, even co-founding a construction and engineering company, before finding my sweet spot as a mindset coach. For ages, I thought all this bouncing around meant I was just "flighty." But then I found Human Design, and suddenly it all made sense! As a 6/2 Manifesting Generator, it turns out this wonderfully varied path is exactly how I'm meant to roll – it's how I pick up all sorts of insights, and it's how I'm uniquely set up to guide you.

Life, for me, hasn't just been about career shifts. I'm a proud mum to two fantastic teenage daughters, and I've even managed to co-parent super successfully with my ex (who's still my business partner!) for over a decade now. I've also navigated some pretty tough times. Losing my incredible Mum, who was truly my everything, to breast cancer when she was just 51 and I was only 26, hit me hard. Then, with the joy of having kids, came that whole "who am I now?" identity shift. And more recently, at the end of 2024, I said a heartbreaking goodbye to my best friend of over 40 years after a very quick and brutal illness.

Through every single one of these experiences, I've always found a way to navigate through and grow. My personal motto is simple: we only get one shot at this life, so let's really make the most of it! The biggest lightbulb moment for me has been realizing that true growth truly has to come from within. No one else can "fix" you (even if plenty of folks out there claim they can!). My own journey has taught me that embracing change and choosing to grow is totally an inside job.

Oh, and for a bit of personal joy and a creative escape, I recently discovered the wonderful world of art! It's become a place where I find so much calm, clarity, and genuine happiness. It's a lovely reminder that even when life throws its curveballs, there's always space to find new passions and moments of peace.

So, I guess you could say I know a thing or two about change and growth. I'm not here to "fix" anything for you; instead, I'm here to be your guide, offering those gentle "wee nudges" as you navigate your own unique journey.
